WIRE BRUSHED OAK

Oak Barn Board, harvested from various types of agrarian buildings like tobacco barns, corn cribs, loft boards and granary boards, offers a unique polished look or “burnishing.” This burnish adds a depth of character to the wood. It is also a great way to preserve the original surface and patina of the wood while sweeping away any loose grain and dirt. Oak Barn Board has a layer of warm rich texture colors from burnt to toasted, tobacco to sandy. This wire brush technique is commonly used on Oak and other hardwoods.
