THRESHING FLOOR

Threshing floor is one of our original surface products. Threshing floors are the most primitive, rustic and unique of our reclaimed products. Traditionally, barns had heavy, rugged floors to thresh grains. These floors had to be thick and tough to hold up to many years of harvesting crops as well as all the foot, hoof, wagon, and other traffic.

Threshing floors represent centuries of hard work, wooden planks slowly transformed over time to show their unique beauty, story and rugged character. The history of American farming traditions is preserved in the character markings from the work of days gone by. Rousseau Reclaimed harvests these timeless and primitive planks and transforms them into one-of-a-kind custom rustic wide plank floors.
